Service ok, you can sit outside but, hence the deduction, there were no Spanish dishes. I would have expected tapas ...

We find EL SOL more than cozy, delicious food and atmosphere, and the wait staff are super friendly and courteous. We cannot agree with the previous criticism, because it is stupid to put € 25 on the table at € 13.90 .. so you can't blame the conditions if they make such a comment 😂😂😂😂 1, 10 € tip is nothing, the principle is 10-15% ^^^^ Team EL SOL keep it up 👍🏻 we always like to come back 🥂

Loveless furnishings (station hall), waiters hectic and overwhelmed and long waiting times for 2 cakes with tea and coffee - even here I would not have given a 1-star rating, as this can happen in terms of personnel. But what a bottomless cheek was that we should have paid € 13.90, my husband gave him € 25 without words and the waiter said of his own accord: '10 back out?' Apparently they want to get a tip here. Unfortunately it worked for us because we were so perplexed and have never experienced such behavior. Treat yourself NEVER AGAIN!!!

The good thing first: the fries were crispy. But: the chicken wings are average and no dip. I can understand that adjoining rooms are converted in Corona times, but then you should be tidy and comfortable and not act like a "makeshift" with the television on, which is just annoying and the return of dishes is covered up with an advertising display. The young waiters were nice and hard-working, but I hope they are still learning!

Unfortunately everything went wrong. Ordered rib eye medium, arrived through the first time, after complaining a new steak was grilled. Unfortunately this was not a medium but half raw. The bread was not baked through for the starter and the ice cream was missing for the dessert. In the end, the beer has run out. The only bright spot was the service.

Rating for the hotel I contacted the hotel by email in July to book 4 rooms in September. The friendly answer came promptly: ".. they would like to offer us the rooms"! I asked again in writing to confirm the booking, but it never arrived. Despite several phone calls and emails, I was repeatedly put off and the "boss" was referred to, who is currently not in the house. But contact you directly: "At some point I also had the" boss "on the phone, who assured me that he would email the booking confirmation directly. Of course, this did not come. So I kept calling and sending emails. 14 days before the booked appointment, I then sent an email stating that I assumed that the booked rooms were ready and that we could then arrive. Another week passed, then 8 days before arrival I was informed that no rooms were available for us. After an angry phone call in which the "boss" was once again unavailable, I was assured that he would be back the next morning at 10 AM !! contact me. Now guess what didn't happen ...... Conclusion: If someone wants to book a vacation in Trvemünde, do not rely on this hotel. Since in Travemünde everything is occupied, except for the upper categories, we have to switch to Lübeck. The only thing left to say is: THANK YOU HOTEL MELISSA! THANK YOU FOR NOTHING !!!

We were there for a wedding party. The entire staff was courteous and incredibly nice, including the children. My daughter had injured her foot and they promptly came with water and wound care materials. I had a nosebleed too and they immediately offered me an ice pack for my neck. The food was great and it was a nice celebration. I would visit again and again when we are there.

Was there yesterday with 4 friends. Half an hour after the order, the waitress came and said the pineapple for Pizza Hawaii was over. It is still manageable, but then waiting another half an hour for the food and being asked about the long waiting time, completely unable to respond to criticism is not possible. We even had to work out what we had to pay for the waitress because she couldn't do mental arithmetic. The service doesn't work at all, and the pizzas and pasta didn't taste like anything. Only the price was still bearable. I have never eaten so bad in Lübeck and the surrounding area!

Food was delicious, but it could have been a little more. The service was very friendly, only it is m. E. Not appropriate to stroke all dogs in the outdoor area and continue to use them immediately (washing hands would be good).

I was there with the family on my birthday and we received a warm welcome. Service was really great, very nice and courteous. The food was really delicious and every wish was fulfilled immediately. You can definitely recommend El Sol.

Were at El Sol on Tuesday evening, the schnitzel day. The service was very nice and courteous. The turkey and pork cutlets were really tasty. No industrial breading and the sauce was freshly mushroomed and also seasoned well. There was even more sauce. The absolute hammer for the price. Many thanks

We were more than satisfied, food delicious, service was very friendly and nice. Children are also welcome. Value for money just super. We will definitely be back.

The service apparently has a slightly different sense of humor and is sometimes a bit unfriendly. When my friend didn't know what she wanted to order, her eyes were rolled and the final word after her decision was "Finally." The food was good, but not outstanding for the price either.

The condition was super pushy and tried to get us (family with 3 children) cocktails and a bottle of wine in the afternoon. The food was far too expensive for the quality. So the price-performance ratio was not right. A bottle of water cost € 7, which was the cheapest thing there was. Baked sheep's cheese with 3 slices of tomato cost € 9. The pizza was much worse. This was very soft and instead of tomato sauce had Bolognese sauce as an ingredient. Even the freezer pizza would have tasted better. Finally, when we wanted to pay, we received the bill. We were very surprised at the total and did the math again. Lo and behold: we were charged 20 € too much. A bottomless cheek! Actually this restaurant doesn't deserve a single star in my opinion, but you have to award at least one.

Delicious food, value for money very good and super nice service 👌🏼 Great selection on the menu .. Something for everyone. They responded to "extra requests" and the food was prepared quickly, but cannot confirm the recessions of other guests! We will come back 🍀👍🏼

The service is not necessarily friendly. The meal takes a long time. Work was never invented here. The food was cold. The price / performance ratio was satisfactory.

Drinks were only forgotten. Approx. Waited 60 minutes for the meal. Both dishes are not as ordered. It was no different around us. In fact, exactly one table got the dishes as ordered. During this time, someone complained about the wrong bill and a couple did not get a table that had been reserved beforehand ... The waitresses do their best and work their heels raw. The kitchen doesn't seem to implement the orders ... After all, it tasted good.

I'll be coming back here. The burger was great and the fries good (my wife felt they were maybe a bit too salty) the atmosphere was casual with a candle on each table in a festive setting. The service was attentive but not annoyingly so, if they saw we might need something they asked without needing to be called over.

Today we were in the restaurant El Sol, which I give 4 out of 5 stars. Food / Price 1 of 2 stars We had ordered a tapas plate for 9.90 as an appetizer. There was cheese, spanish ham with melon, chorizo, bread and salad. It was delicious. The main course is a pulled chicken burger with fries. He tasted really good, the only thing that would be to complain about, the fries could be fried a little longer. Unfortunately, all the deserts were down to the ice, so a deduction. Otherwise, the price / performance ratio was right. Staff / Service 2 of 2 stars The service was nice and talkative. Has fulfilled all wishes, so to speak. Therefore, I can not say anything negative here. Also the wait for the food was ok. Atmosphere 1 of 1 star The place is quite big, clean and tidy. You can talk well and there is a TV where football is shown. Conclusion I will definitely eat here again and try the paella. Prices and food were adequate and on the whole makes the restaurant a decent impression. Therefore 4 out of 5 stars.

This "restaurant" is now called ZUR SONNE. My twin sister and I were thirsty for coffee and we couldn't miss a piece of cake. What a nice offer. Coffee and cake for € 5.50. We looked for a nice spot and waited for the things to come. The service came quickly and asked what we wanted. The drinks came soon and so did the cake. But what was that ?! We didn't get a cake fork with a piece of cake as usual, but a large fork from the normal range of cutlery. When asked what this is about, the answer was that we don't have cake forks yet ... yes, what can you say ?! There are moments in life when you are just speechless. Therefore a star deduction for the missing cake fork.
